Every Wednesday we offer a provincially inspected kill.  Because we are a small scale abattoir, when compared to federal slaughter plants which can kill several thousand beef a day, it is sometimes necessary to book 2-4 weeks in advance.

Below you will find helpful information in the necessary requirements when bringing livestock in.

 

Canadian Cattle Inspection Agency requires all incoming beef to have a RFID tag and must be accompanied with a manifest.  Below is a link to the CCIA explaining their requirements.

Lamb is also required to have an approved Canadian Sheep Inspection Program (CSIP) tag.  Click the link below for more information from Alberta Lamb Producers.

Pork is required to have a Swine Traceablity Manifest completed when brought in.  If you do not have this document, we can provide one for you.  Please read more information from Alberta Pork
